Weekly Word with guest Matt Grubs
Matt Grubs of New Mexico PBS and New Mexico In Focus joined Joey Peters and myself for our latest edition of the Morning Word.
The podcast was recorded inside the Roundhouse and covered a number of topics related to the New Mexico legislative session — looking at bills that may not have been fully covered yet (and some that have been covered to death).
You can listen to the podcast below or download using this link.

We also briefly discussed U.S. Senator Tom Udall’s efforts at filibuster reform and the news that he is being put forward as a potential Secretary of the Interior. On the latter point, we engaged in some very, very premature speculation over who might replace Udall if he was offered and did accept the job as Secretary of the Interior.
We look at some fun bills and you get to see where Grubs thinks real cowboys live — New Mexico or Texas.
