Weekly Word: Peter St. Cyr guests

Weekly WordOur own David Steinberg (the most frequent guest on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson) showed up to talk about some of his recent stories.

St. Cyr talked about the hot topic this week — the Republican Party of Bernalillo County executive director Steve Kush’s offensive comments about a minimum wage supporter. Kush called a supporter a “radical bitch” for her support of the minimum wage.

The podcast played an interview with the woman in question, Chelsey Evans of Working America.

Also, St. Cyr spoke about his controversial “Nuts to Butts” cover story in a recent edition of the Santa Fe Reporter profiling some allegedly inhumane treatment of prisoners in a New Mexico prison.

Justin Horwath filled in for myself next to Joey Peters.
